Most
overweight people do not like gyms, the cost is prohibitive,
prejudices are rife, and it reinforces negative feelings about his
or her body image. The gym provides endurance exercise that
requires a level of self discipline which is not sustainable even
for people with the correct body weight!
Bodywatch
provides long term, enduring, low and medium impact exercise by way
of dance and movement, which is taught professionally at my Dance

There are
many spin offs to this form of exercise, it feeds the soul and is
very creative. It is a form of expression and it enables you to
learn something new which, in turn, balusters self
esteem.
The
classes and sessions are a social event, fun based and very
popular. Camaraderie builds quickly with like minded people.
The sessions remove the feeling some people have, of
isolation that can prevail in gyms and some types of 'weight
watchers' clubs, which are all too often driven by fear of name and
shame tactics.
Sessions
and classes are conducted during the daytime and evenings and there
are different classes for different users.
